We are seeking a QA Engineer to join the Codeex team!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for API endpoints.
  • Verify API functionalities, data integrity, and error handling by writing automated tests by JavaScript
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs.
  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Execute exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  • Report QA metrics and updates to upper management and the entire team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, PM and PO.
  • Generate and distribute test reports summarizing test results, coverage, and potential risks.

JOB Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Proficient in using testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Qase.io, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in REST API automation testing.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Experience with code editor tools, like WebStorm, Visual Studio
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Optional Skills (Beneficial but Not Required):
  • Basic knowledge in database testing (SQL, data validation).
  • Knowledge of Web3, blockchain technologies, NFTs, and their relevance in financial platforms.
  • Familiarity with smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential areas of risk.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
