Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and maintainable APIs using Node.js
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Develop security protocols and safeguarding systems against vulnerabilities
- Design and implement server-side architecture using Node.js
- Design and implement data storage solutions using databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Develop and maintain system documentation
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in back-end development using Node.js
- Strong understanding of JavaScript ES6+, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in implementing security measures for back-end systems
- Experience in RESTful API design and development
- Proven experience with databases, both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)
- Strong knowledge of Database transactions and Locks
- Strong experience in collaborating with front-end developers and integrating front-end with back-end logic.
- Web3.js knowledge is a big plus
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented and collaborative attitude
