Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and maintainable APIs using Node.js
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Design and implement server-side architecture using Node.js
- Design and implement data storage solutions using databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Develop and maintain system documentation
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- More than 4 years of experience in back-end development using Node.js
- Knowledge and application of software development concepts, such as data structures, algorithms and object-oriented programming
- Experience working on multiple projects, ranging from simple to complex
- English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and server-side JavaScript
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies (Docker) is a plus
- Time management skills
- Communication Skills
- Problem-solving and Debugging Skills
- Ability to debug and optimize code for performance
- Ability to review junior developers’ code
- Familiarity with web3 technology would be beneficial.
