Mid-Level QA Engineer

We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer to join the Codeex team!

As a QA engineer, you will work closely with developers, project managers, to identify, document, and troubleshoot issues throughout the development cycle. This role requires a blend of technical and analytical skills, as well as a keen eye for details.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans for API endpoints.
Verify API functionalities, data integrity, and error handling by writing automated tests in JavaScript.
Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs.
Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Conduct smoke and sanity testing to ensure the stability and functionality of key features after code changes.
Provide assistance to the team in Test Estimation & Test Planning.
Execute exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues.
Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Identify areas for process improvements and contribute to QA best practices within the team to enhance product reliability.
Generate and distribute test reports summarizing test results, coverage, and potential risks.

Job Requirements

1-3 years of experience in the software quality assurance area.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience creating detailed Test Plans for functional as well as business use cases.
Proficient in using testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Qase.io, etc.).
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Experience with code editor tools, like WebStorm, and Visual Studio.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working within agile teams.
Basic knowledge in database testing (SQL, data validation).
