We are seeking a R&D Technical Project Manager to join the Codeex team!

The Technical Project Manager will be a key player in the successful delivery of Zappix’s cutting-edge solutions to our clients. This individual will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to solution design, implementation, and go-live for all R&D Product Development releases and Customer Implementation projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will work closely with our R&D and Customer Success teams to ensure that our R&D Product Development releases and Customer Implementation projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of all projects, defining scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and manage all aspects of project execution.
  • Technical Requirements and Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed technical requirements and user stories. Work with the engineering team to design and architect solutions that leverage the Zappix platform to meet project/release objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams, including R&D, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and successful delivery/launch.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing and quality assurance process to ensure that the delivered solution meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and status reports.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
    Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software implementation projects for external clients.
    Experience in the customer experience (CX), or related industries is a strong plus.
  • Technical Acumen:
    • Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and system integrations.
    Familiarity with the AWS cloud-based platform.
    Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
    Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
    Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    Proficiency in project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
    Exceptional client-facing and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
    A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    A self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong sense of ownership and a commitment to excellence.
