Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases
- Develop, maintain, and optimise automation test frameworks and scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives from a QA perspective
- Collaborate closely with Developers and Product Managers
- Validate fixes and perform re-testing to ensure defect resolution
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices
- Provide test execution reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript)
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST clients)
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document issues and communicate with cross-functional and international teams
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to provide effective solutions to intricate testing challenges
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
