Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex T-SQL stored procedures, functions, views, and scripts.
Optimize SQL Server performance through query tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and Query Store.
Work with large-scale databases, including high-volume and TB-scale tables.
Analyze and improve legacy database systems, ensuring maintainability and optimal performance.
Design and implement efficient data models aligned with business requirements.
Develop and support distributed database solutions, including transactions using Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC).
Participate in database deployment processes using SSDT and CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct code reviews, enforce database development best practices, and ensure production readiness.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term performance improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable database solutions.

Job Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server development.
Strong expertise in T-SQL, including transactions, locking, and isolation levels.
Proven experience in SQL Server performance tuning, including execution plans, indexing, Query Store, and query optimization.
Experience working with large-scale databases and high-volume transactional systems.
Solid understanding of relational database design, normalization, and data modeling.
Experience optimizing and modernizing legacy database systems.
Knowledge of distributed systems and MSDTC.
Experience with database deployment tools such as SSDT and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience performing code reviews and supporting production environments.
