Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our delivery team. You will work embedded with a cross-functional team of front-end, back-end, and QA engineers building a desktop application for a European fintech client, in close daily collaboration with the Product Owner. Your mission is to keep delivery moving: breaking work down into actionable tasks, coordinating distributed technical teams across several countries, tracking dependencies and risks, and acting as a well-prepared point of contact toward the client’s development organization.

Job Responsibilities

Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, delivery, and closure.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear ownership and alignment on priorities.
Coordinate distributed technical teams across multiple countries and time zones, ensuring effective communication and follow-through.
Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, and Designers.
Monitor project progress, identify dependencies, risks, and blockers, and take appropriate action.
Proactively identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans.
Facilitate project meetings, stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives where appropriate.
Maintain clear and regular communication with internal and external teams.
Track project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track.
Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and priorities.
Ensure that deliverables meet agreed quality standards and business requirements.
Support continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.
Ensure proper project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

3+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in software development or technology projects.
Solid understanding of the end-to-end project management lifecycle.
Experience managing projects involving cross-functional technical teams.
Experience working with international clients or distributed teams.
Experience managing client-facing projects.
Good understanding of software development processes and SDLC.
Strong skills in project planning, prioritization, and risk management.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving in a changing environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and outcomes.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Trello, or similar.
Strong written and verbal English skills.

Strongly Preferred

Experience in FinTech, banking, payments, digital banking, or other financial technology projects.
Understanding of financial products, payment systems, compliance, or financial regulations.
PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certification.
