Senior UI/UX Designer

Job Responsibilities

Building and developing sustainable frontend design strategies and processes
Interface between business departments, IT teams, and external partners
Close collaboration with product owners, IT business analysts, developers, and stakeholders
Analysis and resolution of defects from a functional perspective and, where applicable, a technical perspective
Conceptualization and further development of modern, intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications
Contributing to projects for implementing and further developing the frontends
Creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows, taking user needs and business requirements into account
Analyzing user feedback to continuously optimize the user experience
Building, maintaining, and further developing a design system
Documenting design decisions, processes, and guidelines

Job Requirements

Several years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally in an agile IT/digital environment
Confident use of common design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision) plus knowledge of HTML and CSS; ideally JavaScript is a plus
He / She must understand the logic of Radix UI. The ideal candidate knows how to design within the constraints of a primitive-based system, ensuring that what they draw in Figma is technically achievable using our @mf/uidesign tokens and Radix Themes.
Experience designing responsive web and mobile front ends
Excellent ability to analyze complex structures and translate them into applicable processes
Strategic thinking combined with pragmatic implementation skills and strong coordination and control/management skills
Agile working methods and agile project methodology in international teams are second nature to you
Experience in banking and/or insurance is an advantage, especially in the funds/securities domain
Completed degree in Design, Media Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, or a comparable qualification
Strong communication and presentation skills, with a high degree of empathy, creativity, and user-centricity
Very good English skills, both written and spoken
