Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Implement webpage designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP within the WordPress framework.
  • Customize existing themes and plugins to meet client needs.
  • Build responsive, efficient interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
  • Perform website maintenance, updates, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to improve user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or technical issues as they arise.
  • Assist in migrating websites and performing regular backups.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and WordPress developments.
  • Cover basic SEO of webpages and the website overall
  • Ensure the up-to-date security of the website.

    Job Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience working with WordPress development.
    • Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
    • Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Understanding of WordPress coding standards and security best practices.
    • Basic knowledge of SEO, website performance, and accessibility.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • English language skills.
